A cat and its kittens were found behind a warehouse. The girl’s mother was close to one of them. A woman was informed about a street cat with five cubs by another animal rescuer. He saw several cats scurrying around behind a warehouse.
As soon as she brought out a pile of food, kittens appeared one by one from all directions. Their famished bodies were grazing on food. The mother cat was estimated to be around five years old. She was severely underweight when she and her babies arrived. They were unclean and weak and suffered from upper respiratory diseases.
They were eating leaves and grass because there was no food available. It was the mother cat’s reassuring and motivating presence that helped the frightened kittens come out of their shells. Their safety was assured by the purring cat. As if she had been longing for love her entire life, she embraced it wholeheartedly.
When we acquired the puppies, they were eight weeks old, which surprised me because the cat was so underweight. In addition to being quieter and smaller than the other infants, one stood out.
The way she clung to her mother and massaged and touched her was typical. There’s always a baby who needs a little more attention from his mother.
