The townspeople called this dog “the Wolf,” because they were afraid to approach her. However, they were unaware that the wild thing needed help. The dog roamed the streets of California for months by the side of the road, and things only got worse.

Except for a small patch on his head, the dog had shed almost all of his fur. Further, the animal refused to allow people or other dogs to approach him. The animal protection service was contacted by several kind people.

Meghan, a volunteer who cared for the puppy, later acknowledged that seeing him had affected her emotionally. It wasn’t until she looked closely that she realized the dog was a German shepherd.

A number of problems prevented the dog from fully appreciating life. Konge was identified as a young boy of just a year old.

After having his back operated on, he made a speedy recovery thanks to skilled, compassionate, and loving vets. As soon as his condition is stable, he will be placed in a permanent home.
