As the invasion of Ukraine continues, numerous citizens are at risk. From pets being separated at the border to zoo animals not being able to leave war-torn cities, animals have faced serious risks.

Among them, Stepan has a large following thanks to his humorous viral videos. His owner claimed recently that she and the cat had survived blasts near their apartment. During the first days of the attack, the proprietor describes the devastation.

Her home was safe for a week before falling shells destroyed it. We were without electricity for a week, spending two nights in the basement to charge the phone.

Volunteers transported the woman and the cat to the train station after they trekked for 20 hours. They have kept their word since crossing the border.

A picture appeared on the cat’s Instagram account five days ago announcing a fundraiser for a Ukrainian animal charity. The cat’s fans responded strongly to the event in a surprising turn of events. She reported raising $10,035 in a later tweet!
