It is the world’s largest (and possibly friendliest) arachnid, the huntsman spider.
If one of these beauties migrates indoors, it is nearly impossible not to notice. However, one huntsman spider in the home of an Australian family did more than that. It had a family. There were quite a few of them.
During a family dinner the other day, Claudia’s kid told her that her room was acting up. Claudia went to investigate and found dozens of tiny spiders hatching from an egg sac near a window. According to Claudia, this was certainly an unexpected surprise. “We had a huntsman spider here and there, but I had no idea we had a complete kindergarten scurrying around.” Unnerving? No way. She was quite the opposite when it came to the spider babies.
She said. “They’re so cute! “They’re so cute! She kept her promise.
Instead of evicting violently the spider babies (or worse), Claudia carefully opened the window. They would be able to go outside on their own.
They were left alone. They were gone the next morning,” she recalled.
Mother spider, who laid her eggs there, had selected the perfect place for her children’s nursery.
” We are animal lovers,” Claudia said.
