A Dog Who Hates Cats Reacts Surprised When His Owner Introduces Him To A Blind Shelter Cat

When they met Bruno, a woman who didn’t consider herself a cat person and a dog with a reputation for not getting along with cats both changed their minds. They both adored this adorable blind and sick twink.

For years, Kelsey has worked in animal shelters. She recently met a very special cat in one of these shelters. Bruno, a blind and sick feline, answers to the name of Bruno. Specifically, he suffers from feline infectious peritonitis, a serious viral infection. He remained at the shelter’s veterinary clinic where he received treatment, unlike many of his peers cared for by the association.

Bruno changed Kelsey’s mind about adopting a cat. Initially, she had welcomed him into her office, as she often did with other shelter residents. “He slept on my shoulders while I worked in my office. She tells Pets Radar that he was always in a good mood and loved everyone who came to see him. After becoming attached to him, she decided to adopt him. In her approach, she had to take into account a very important factor; Ed, her dog. As a 9-year-old, the latter did not get along with cats very well. Kelsey feared her reaction to Bruno’s arrival. She gradually introduced them to each other, and Ed’s positive reaction surprised her. Following a week of playing together, their owner says they became best friends.

She jokes that Ed is her dog and Bruno is Ed’s cat. Bruno is a character, and despite being blind, he enjoys running. Despite bumping and falling, he gets up and continues his game. Kelsey’s perception of living with a cat was upended by the experience. It never occurred to me that I was a cat person. My career in animal shelters lasted a decade, and I love cats, but I had no idea they could have such a special bond with humans.
