Meghan, a native of Texas, brought home a sick kitten after spotting it on the street. She named the kitten Garry because he was ill-conditioned and could not adapt to his new environment.
Picky, the kitten’s older brother, soon began helping him with everything. In spite of spending most of his time outside and only occasionally entering Meghan’s home to feed and rest, Picky lived with Meghan for years.
Seeing Garry, the aloof cat developed empathy and compassion. In order to look after his younger sister, he began playing with her, cleaning for her, watching out for her, and even putting her to bed.
Picky was relieved to be back home after missing the kitten so much. With his recovery progressing, Little Garry enjoys spending time with his elder brother, who is now mainly at home.
No matter what happens, you will always have someone to look after you. Animals are no different.
