Rocket was found on Miami’s streets. Rescuers sent the 12-year-old dog to a shelter with little hope. Few people adopt older dogs, especially those with disabilities. The majority of people don’t adopt older dogs, especially those who are disabled. This spirited little guy caught the eye of one mother, who desperately wanted to adopt him!
His origin is unknown, but based on the way he acts, they assume he was once someone’s pet. Rocket is losing his sight, but he lives in a family that knows how to take care of elderly pets.
As a sibling, he has a blind dog named Joey! This family believes Rocket is just wonderful, despite the fact that he is a mix of Chihuahua, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, and Pomeranian with a quarter of a Yorkie and half of a Pomeranian!
