Sylvia, a very kind woman, saved Maya, the pup, from a puppy factory in Brazil. Her body was worn out after having baby huskies.

Her back legs were also paralyzed due to the appalling treatment and situation. Maya’s severe health issues rendered her useless, so her handlers decided to get rid of her. Sylvia intervened to provide the dog with a chance at happiness. In Brazil, Maya was used to produce pups in an illegal kennel owned by Sylvia.

As the dog’s illegal kennel owners no longer brought her money, her co-worker was informed by a complaint that they were trying to get rid of her. Her hardships would be ended by administering rat poison to her. In a cold cage, Maya had body wounds and was paralyzed in her hind legs.

On the 28th of August, Sylvia said, “She was lying injured when we arrived. Seeing her in that condition broke my heart She seemed calm when she left that place when we put Maya in the car. She was unable to breathe due to being beaten and tied up.

Maya was so weak that Sylvia stayed with her for 48 hours, but she had a strong desire to live in her eyes. Maya seemed timid at first, but who could blame her? No affection or love has ever been shown to her. Her entire five-year life has been spent in a cold cage and surrounded by evil.

For one and a half years following her savior, Maya underwent recovery to regain her mental and physical health. When I heard her story, I already knew she would never be able to walk again…”

Since Maya was freed five years ago, she has changed beyond recognition. Maya’s wonderful will to live and the big-heartedness of others can be praised.
