Missky played a significant role in Yeva’s life, so her absence surprised her greatly. Yeva vanished after stepping out of the car to go grocery shopping in 2009.
Missky, however, seemed bored and got out of the car. Having been unable to find her pet, she was distraught and could not imagine life without her.
She waited for the cat to return on its own before starting her search, but she found nothing. Despite not finding her right away, she did eventually discover her ten years later.Her home was only 11 kilometers away.
Missky had been there for ten years, and the rescue agency called the woman to let her know. Anne Hawks of Birmingham found her. The vet found an implanted chip in her, and immediately informed her owner.
