Bruno was surrendered to Wright-Way Rescue in Illinois in April due to conflict with his family’s children. The shelter’s staff believes Bruno’s weight was a contributing factor. When he wanted his space, he would have a hard time escaping children at 25 pounds. It’s no secret that Bruno is a big, silly cat who just wants some love and attention from the people he cares about.

Bruno’s oddest characteristic is that he enjoys standing on his hind legs. With the way he poses and the cute looks he makes while standing on his hind legs, it’s easy to see how this cat became so fat. He has to lose at least 10 pounds if he wants to live to be an old man,” Wright-Way Rescue employee Erin Thomas told The Dodo. For now, we’re taking it one pound at a time.” I think he’s overweight because he’s overloved.”

In addition to posing on his hind legs, Bruno has a few odd behaviors. His favorite time to be petted is when he’s eating. He will stare at you and meow until you pet him. For some reason, he enjoys companionship more than eating.

Drinking water is also enjoyable to him, but he will not drink from the kitchen’s water basins. His home is strewn with dozens of water pitchers.
