Meet Bella, a six-week-old beauty. She suddenly stopped walking one day. Without hesitation, her owner took her to the vet for euthanasia.

As soon as she turned around, she left. It was the right decision made by the vet…He wondered why the baby suddenly stopped walking. Hand In Paw Dog Rescue and Assistance Center founder Paper Wood was contacted to find out what the problem was.

The tests Paper conducted revealed that Bella was taken from her mother too early. As sad as it was, the puppy’s inability to walk was explained. At first, everyone might have thought it was paralysis.

Hypoglycemia was present in Bella. She was simply malnourished, and her blood glucose levels dropped rapidly… However, Bella proved to be a very strong girl.

Within two hours of treatment, the baby was standing on her own paws. Fatigue, loss of appetite, and white gums are all signs of hypoglycemia,” says Wood.

The problem is that people get pets, they don’t take good care of them, and if they get sick, they euthanize them right away to get a new one. Fortunately, Bella ended up in the hands of a good veterinarian, whose decision saved her life.
