The Animal Control officers in South Carolina spotted a stray dog wandering around York streets. The night was very cold. Daya, the pit bull dog, was pregnant, so she needed a shelter as soon as possible. As soon as Halfway Rescue agreed to foster her at their shelter, they took her under their care.
In no time, the poor dog had problems and needed an urgent operation. She was in danger not only of her unborn babies, but also of her life. Daya lost her babies, but luckily she survived. She looked so sad and unhappy, her heart was broken.
A rescued orphaned black puppy changed everything when it arrived at the shelter one day. There was a look of fear, confusion, and sadness on his face. She was also found on the streets of York. Obviously, Raisin, the little puppy, had a hard life. She suffered a serious injury to one of her eyes. A wonderful thing happened when the Halfway Rescue workers introduced Raisin to Daya.
The poor puppy was immediately accepted by Daya, as if he was her unborn child, and Raisin was suddenly comforted, who had been deprived of a mother’s love.
